The website of Jeff Gottesfeld and Cherie Bennett
It's the autumn of 2008, and welcome to our website! We guess you're here because you've read or watched something we've authored or written. We do a lot of different kinds of writing: for the stage and the page, and just finished a two year run with the CBS television daytime drama THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS. Cherie has a syndicated column, and Jeff is a frequent Op-Ed essayist. It's a pleasure to offer this official website where you can learn more about us and our work. Definitely check out the "What's New" button for all the latest. While most of our time has been spent on the TV show during the last couple of years, that's not all we've done. We admit to being the Melody Mayer behind the Random House series THE NANNIES, which is currently in development at ABC Family network. Then, there are the super-secret writing projects that not even our pseudonyms know about. Ssh. Ssh again. And ssh one more time. There are some things we will own up to. Cherie is currently working on adult novel, and Jeff is at work on a YA project titled THE END. Also, an adaptation to the stage of a prizewinning YA novel that's not his own.
